Hey whoever is reading this. My name is Ollie, I got into filmmaking about 5 years ago when I dislocated my shoulder for the 14th time. I had to get surgery on my shoulder and was out of competitive soccer for a whole year (keep in mind soccer was my life). The team and I drifted farther apart.  Also my dad stopped coming to my games, where he would take photos of my team and me. I missed having him at the games, so I took his place on the sidelines where I started doing sports photography.  I started to regain connection with the team as I took more photos. I loved taking photos. I tried other types of photography like street photography. A rapper by the name of “Baby Lotus”  loved my photos and asked for an album cover shoot. The album cover shoot went great, and then I started to film music videos for Lotus. Those music videos later turned into narrative filmmaking. I’ve done 2 short films that have been selected and nominated by various festivals such as NFFTY, & The All American High School Film Festival. After saving up for the last year, I bought my first cinema line camera. Now i’m in Uni — A Freshman at LMU SFTV majoring in Film prod.
